First off, we’d recommend the 45GR95QE-B, a 45-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor that LG says is their best-selling gaming monitor at the moment. This is an excellent option for immersive gameplay on a beautiful OLED display. This panel technology offers deep blacks, stunning color accuracy, and a high level of responsiveness. It’s now $500 off, dropping down to just $1,199.99.

As an alternative to the 45″ ultrawide above, we definitely have to feature the 34GP950G-B, a more budget-friendly option that offers great levels of immersion itself. It is a whopping $600 off, dropping down from $1,299.99 to just $699.99. The Nano IPS panel offers good color accuracy and it boasts refresh rate overclocking up to 180Hz. It also comes with Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate to ensure fluid visuals on the 34-inch screen.

Next up is this 32″ 4K 144Hz gaming monitor, the 32GQ750-B. If you’re not so interested in ultrawide and want something a little cheaper – yet high-end – we’d think about this instead. The 144Hz refresh rate is smooth enough at this resolution and the HDMI 2.1 connectivity unlocks that for PC, or 120Hz on current-gen consoles. AMD’s FreeSync Premium prevents screen tear too if your framerate drops. Down from $699.99 to just $499.99.

Not the biggest saving in the world, but the with launch of many new 360Hz OLEDs this year, LG has dropped the price of the 240Hz 27GS95QE-B down to just $799.99. This sits at the QHD (1440p) resolution, which we think is a great spot for many gamers than don’t want to push their hardware with 4K or ultrawide resolutions. This resolution is a step up from 1080p, but allows for high framerates at native resolution in any decent gaming PC.

Last, but certainly not least, is the 49GR85DC-B – a massive 49-inch super ultrawide monitor. This is one of the biggest standards as far as monitors go, outside of the latest dual 4K displays. This is dual QHD, which is essentially two 1440p monitors stuck together. This is a beast for immersive gaming and productivity, backed up by a smooth 240Hz refresh rate and bright DisplayHDR 1000 rating. Previously $1,299.99, you can now get it for just $849.99.
Is LG Gaming Week a good time to buy a gaming monitor?
There’s no doubt that LG Gaming Week is a great time to finally upgrade your gaming monitor. Their wide range of UltraGear displays pretty much has something for everyone, with a focus on larger sizes such as 32-inch 4K and even larger ultrawides.
If you’re focused on gaming, we’d definitely recommend and OLED display for the best level of responsiveness, though this of course comes at a cost. There are some great alternatives if you’re looking to score the best value for money.
