First off, we’d recommend the 45GR95QE-B, a 45-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor that LG says is their best-selling gaming monitor at the moment. This is an excellent option for immersive gameplay on a beautiful OLED display. This panel technology offers deep blacks, stunning color accuracy, and a high level of responsiveness. It’s now $500 off, dropping down to just $1,199.99.

Not the biggest saving in the world, but the with launch of many new 360Hz OLEDs this year, LG has dropped the price of the 240Hz 27GS95QE-B down to just $799.99. This sits at the QHD (1440p) resolution, which we think is a great spot for many gamers than don’t want to push their hardware with 4K or ultrawide resolutions. This resolution is a step up from 1080p, but allows for high framerates at native resolution in any decent gaming PC.

Is LG Gaming Week a good time to buy a gaming monitor?
There’s no doubt that LG Gaming Week is a great time to finally upgrade your gaming monitor. Their wide range of UltraGear displays pretty much has something for everyone, with a focus on larger sizes such as 32-inch 4K and even larger ultrawides.
If you’re focused on gaming, we’d definitely recommend and OLED display for the best level of responsiveness, though this of course comes at a cost. There are some great alternatives if you’re looking to score the best value for money.
