If you’re using third-party applications like antivirus software, downloaders, or other tools, make sure they aren’t conflicting with the installation process.

It could be possible that these programs are preventing Windows from installing updates correctly. You should also check if any of them have been updated recently.

If you’ve already installed some new program but don’t know what it was, try uninstalling it first. Then run the Windows Update troubleshooter again.

Download the .exe file associated with the component you need.

Double-click on the downloaded .exe file to run the installer.

After the installation completes, close all open programs and reboot the computer.

If the error persists after rebooting, repeat step 1.
