Intel 13th Gen, aptly coined Raptor Lake, is just days away, powered by aims from the firm of crowning it king in the consumer PC component space.
The company already announced that Raptor Lake will officially be launching on October 20th, and like in most previous releases most consumers are excited to get their hands on the product as soon as it debuts.
When a new piece of technology comes out, getting ahead of its release schedule is an absolute must if you’re banking on buying it, especially in the case of Intel 13th Gen. You need to know where the product is going to be sold, how much it will be and the exact time releases. More importantly, you need to be aware of which retailers are offering pre-orders.
Although there isn’t too much we can say about the timing of Raptor Lake’s release on October 20th, the CPUs should be available for purchase at around 6AM PT / 10AM ET / 2PM BST. This is typically when the majority of retailers restock their stores.

B&H is also offering pre-orders and last we checked it does have all six SKUs available. The retailers that are currently missing are Amazon and Best Buy. They are not offering any pre-orders at this time, but they definitely will be selling the products like hotcakes as soon as they drop midday on October 20th.
Our recommendation is to pre-order the CPU from either Newegg or B&H, which will save you a ton of energy so you can await other debuting components, like the RTX 4000 series that released on October 12th.

What time will Intel 13th gen release?
We’d expect somewhere in the early afternoon on the launch day of October 20. As stock tends to be available in similar windows, sometime between noon and 2pm EST.
When can I expect a new Intel processor?
Thursday, October 20 is the day to expect new processors from Intel to arrive. Intel 13th Gen (Raptor Lake) processors will arrive on that day, with the next generation due to be Meteor Lake – coming in 2023.
