When will Black Friday DaVinci Resolve sales start in 2022?
We can’t know for sure, but based on last year expect the week of Black Friday to be one to keep an eye on.
In 2021, Blackmagic Design kicked off its sale a few days before. With this year’s Black Friday on Friday, November 25, we’d advise preparing a couple of weeks in advance.

What to consider when looking for Black Friday DaVinci Resolve deals

Does DaVinci Resolve have Black Friday sales?
Yes. Blackmagic Design, the creator of DaVinci Resolve does have Black Friday sales. These usually begin a few days before Black Friday itself, so it’s best to be prepared in the run-up to the discount event.
Retailers selling DaVinci Resolve compatible kit will also be having Black Friday sales. So you could get yourself a full suite set up come November, should you have the budget.
When did DaVinci Resolve become free?
In June 2011. This was for DaVinci Resolve version 8, where the ‘Lite’ version became free, while Blackmagic Design continued to charge for other packages.
Today, DaVinci Resolve remains free, while DaVinci Resolve Studio is $295 for a licence, which includes additional effects, eatures and more.
