Lenovo RTX 5070 gaming PC with insane 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD has nearly $250 shaved off
Table of Contents
Lenovo is a very reputable name when it comes to PC hardware, and we’ve come across a number of prebuilt gaming PC from it. However, we came across a variant, the Lenovo Legion 5i, that features exceptional hardware like the RTX 5070 and Core Ultra 7 265F, and what really made it stand out is a discount coupon that shaves $247.92 from its asking price of $3,099. This means that you can get your hands on it for $2,851.08, but keep in mind that this coupon is only valid till April 24, 2026.
While you might think that this is a heavy price tag for a mid-range gaming PC, there is a good reason for it. It houses a whopping 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD, which, combined with the 1TB docking station, gives you 5TB of storage. This aspect is something we’ve seen in high-end offerings, but this should deliver top-notch efficiency and productivity, especially in resource-heavy workflows.
- RTX 5070 is perfect for 1440p gaming
- Superb amount of RAM and storage
- Perfect for content creation and streaming
- It is very expensive
- RTX 5070 can’t handle native 4K very well
Why you should check out this gaming PC
RTX 5070 is perfect for 1440p and pushes the limits to 4K with DLSS 4
This gaming PC features the RTX 5070, which is considered a solid mid-range offering as it can pretty much handle any title out there at 1440p and even push 4K under the right circumstances. This is an important aspect, as the output won’t be the best in titles like Cyberpunk 2077, but Doom and CS2 will run flawlessly. That being said, DLSS 4 and MFG give it more value than high-end offerings, as these technologies allow you to experience 4K gaming without burning a hole in your pocket.

We are well aware of what this GPU is capable of, as we’ve tested the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC and MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC in-house. So, the one thing we would like to point out is that the productivity doesn’t match up to the gaming performance, as the RX 9070 XT easily blazes past it in synthetic workflows.
High-core processor, the 265F, for solid multi-threaded performance
The Core Ultra 7 265F is a tuned-down version of the Core Ultra 7 265K, so do expect to see a decent performance difference. On top of that, it can’t be overclocked as it is locked, but if you mount it on a Z890 motherboard, you may be able to boost the performance via BIOS, undervolting, and BCLK adjustments. That being said, the multi-core performance should be great with this processor as expected from the entire Arrow Lake lineup, but the gaming aspect isn’t the best.
However, that also doesn’t mean that it’ll hold the 5070 back from performing its best, and the output should be a good mix of what both of these components are capable of.
Never worry about storage or RAM again
Many mid-range gaming PCs shut the deal with 32GB RAM and a 1TB or maybe 2TB SSD. However, Lenovo decided otherwise, and you’ll get an insane 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD. This level of storage is more than enough for games, applications, various media, and more. The RAM is what really stands out when it comes to non-gaming tasks like 4K video editing, which should help increase efficiency, as certain tasks benefit from having more RAM, as there is more to go around, and more data can be accessed and processed.
So, you won’t feel much of a difference when it comes to gaming, but in AI, ML, and creative workflows, the performance boost should be apparent, and that sets this gaming PC apart from all the other offerings available right now.
