RTX 5070
The RTX 5070 brings 12GB GDDR7 memory with a 115W TDP to the table, making it a graphical powerhouse needed to push modern games at 1600p high settings with the added sharpness of a higher-than-Full-HD resolution. Support for DLSS 4 is the cherry on top that can help boost performance in supported titles, and ray-tracing can deliver richer reflections, shadows, and lighting for more immersive gameplay. With 12GB VRAM, this GPU can readily load detailed game content and GPU-accelerated creative apps, making this Legion 5 both a solid gaming and creative tool.
165Hz OLED display
This gaming laptop has a 15.3″ display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution on an OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. The OLED panel drives a perfect mix of responsiveness and detail. Due to the tiny pixels used in the OLED panel, the depth of black is very deep, and the contrast ratio will have a major boost with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage; display HDR True Black 1000 support will further improve the potential for vibrant content and highlights where HDR content is available.
WiFi 7
Wi-Fi 7 brings the latest advancement in wireless connectivity to the Legion 5, taking advantage of the 320MHz wide channels as well as Multi-Link Operation. However, to make full use of these features, you’ll need a WiFi 7 router. These advancements mean higher bandwidth, low latency, and more reliable connections in congested areas. That comes in handy when playing online, downloading a large game, or streaming a high-resolution video, all without requiring an Ethernet cable. That being said, we would still recommend using an Ethernet connection where possible.
