This ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC is a great pick for QHD gaming, multitasking, content creators, and productivity, and it’s now down to $1,799.99 at Newegg with its current discount. That’s a good price considering this is an RTX 5070 build with loads of RAM and an excellent, well-rounded CPU.

As mentioned, you’re getting an RTX 5070 here, so that’s 12GB of newer, faster GDDR7, improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, and the 50-series’ exclusive MFG. It’s a card that excels at 1440p and boasts punchy performance with some demanding creative tasks, like video editing and working in 3D. It’s a fair whack more affordable than the RTX 5070 Ti, too, and hits the sweet spot for many from a price-to-performance perspective, both for gamers and creatives.

Where this PC turns into more than simply a gaming build is with its Intel Core i7-14700F processor and 32GB of DDR5. This 20-core LGA 1700 socket CPU brings something more versatile to the table than your typical Ryzen 7 CPUs commonly found in RTX 5070 builds under $2,000. It’s able to handle very demanding multitasking workflows, complex creative projects in applications like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro, streaming, and much more with ease. And, of course, it’s a good pick for 1440p gaming, too.

Another notable feature of this PC is its named-brand components, which add a level of reassurance that this hasn’t just been thrown together. For instance, you’ve got G.Skill RAM, a Gigabyte motherboard, an ASUS Dual OC RTX 5070 graphics card, a 1TB Kingston SSD, and a Gamdias CPU cooler and PSU. Now, is it absolutely primed for future upgrades? Somewhat, but I’d go for something with a more recent Core Ultra CPU and 850W PSU if you have that in mind and don’t mind the extra initial investment. I think for the price, this PC makes a lot of sense and ticks all the right boxes, providing excellent gaming and workstation capabilities, while still staying well under $2,000.

What we like about this ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC

Named-brand components is a big green flag

With components sourced from some of the best in the business, it adds a level of reassurance that’s super valuable when there are so many prebuilds to choose from on the market.

No skimping on RAM

You’ve got a hefty 32GB of DDR5, which is going to dramatically improve gaming performance and handling of complex projects in creative applications. Less micro-stutter and snappier edits await.

Quality GPU and CPU pairing, and a little more cost-effective, too

With an older LGA 1700 socket CPU, you’re sacrificing a touch of future-proofing and upgradability, but saving a decent whack of cash over a newer LGA 1851 socket build, and still getting a powerful gaming and workstation build. What’s more, it allows you to push spend into a GPU with the latest Blackwell features and generational improvements.
