TP-Link Tri-Band BE9700 WiFi 7 Router Archer BE550 Pro
The router is rated as a BE9700-class tri-band WiFi 7 model, and fully exploits all the benefits that come with the WiFi 7 standard. The 6GHz band supports channel widths up to 320MHz, increasing the amount of spectrum available for high-throughput devices. Multi-Link Operation allows compatible Wi-Fi 7 clients to use multiple bands or links simultaneously, which can improve throughput and reduce latency. 4K-QAM increases the amount of data represented in each transmitted symbol under suitable signal conditions. Multi-RU support further improves how spectrum can be allocated among multiple clients: the router supports up to eight streams across its three wireless bands. 10GbE plus four 2.5GbE ports
Wired connectivity is one of the router’s biggest strengths. A 10Gbps WAN port is joined by four 2.5Gbps LAN ports, making the BE550 Pro particularly attractive for multi-gig internet plans, NAS systems, high-speed desktops, and wired gaming setups.
EasyMesh expansion
EasyMesh support allows compatible routers, extenders, and powerline products to be combined into a unified network. This makes it easier to extend coverage later without replacing the main router.
Six internal antennas with beamforming
Six internally mounted antennas work alongside beamforming to concentrate signal toward connected devices rather than broadcasting energy uniformly in every direction.
HomeShield security and parental controls
TP-Link HomeShield adds network security, parental-control features, and IoT protection. The router also supports WPA3 and a private IoT network, which can help separate smart-home devices from more sensitive systems.
VPN client and server support
The BE550 Pro supports both VPN client and VPN server operation, giving users flexibility for remotely accessing a home network or routing selected local devices through external VPN services.
Who should buy this WiFi 7 router deal?
The TP-Link Archer BE550 Pro is aimed at users with fast internet connections and multiple modern devices who want to move beyond basic gigabit networking. It is particularly suitable for homes with Wi-Fi 7 laptops and phones, multi-gig NAS devices, gaming PCs, or users running heavy local-network workloads such as large file transfers and media streaming. It also suits users who want a powerful standalone router today but may later expand into an EasyMesh system.
