Inside this stylish build, you’ve got the impressive RTX 5080, which is a powerhouse for 4K gaming and content creation, and that’s paired with the Ryzen 9 9900X, which is great for gaming, but also boasts a very high core count, too. On top of that, you’ve got 32GB of DDR5 and a large 2TB SSD, plus this build comes with a keyboard and mouse, so all you need is a monitor to connect it to. Considering this PC’s build quality, components, and design, we think it’s a big win at its current price, and well worth checking out while it’s still reduced.

Key features of this iBuyPower Y40 Pro RTX 5080 gaming PC

RTX 5080 graphics card

If you’re looking for outstanding 4K, ray tracing performance, then the RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards to go for. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell Architecture, which means you’re getting significant improvements across the board, both with performance and efficiency. You’ve got 16GB of faster, high-bandwidth GDDR7 VRAM, 10,752 CUDA cores, and a 256-bit bus, alongside 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores. Notably, this card’s improved AI performance gives it the edge over earlier generations and some competitor cards, allowing for exclusive features, like MFG, and faster generative AI for use in 3D rendering and video editing workflows, too. Ryzen 9 9900X processor

If you’re after a processor that’s great for gaming, but also well equipped to handle non-gaming tasks, like content creation, video editing, and more, then the Ryzen 9 9900X is a great way to go. It’s an AM5 processor that features an impressive 5.6Ghz boost clock speed, a large 64MB L3 cache, 12 cores, and 24 threads. That’s a combination that essentially gives you everything you need for high fps, low frame latency gameplay, but is also ideal for streaming, running background applications, and making creative workflows in applications, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Blender, much faster. Storage and RAM

Pretty standard offering here, but still great. You’ve got 32GB of DDR5, which is going to be great for running open-world games, like Cyberpunk 2077, at max settings smoothly. It’s also good if you’re editing very large files in applications like Photoshop, for instance. And it also gives you some headroom for new game releases. On the storage front, you’ve got 2TB, which is more than enough if you’re building a pretty hefty gaming library and still want some room for your other files.

Things to consider

One thing you may want to consider is whether to opt for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080 build, which is going to be better for gaming due to its larger 96MB L3 cache. They have a smaller core count, however, so there’s a trade-off. If you’re looking to save some cash and grab an RTX 5080 build for around $2,500, you’ll want to explore some of the Intel Core Ultra 7-265K builds. These are very good if you’re looking for something well-suited for multitasking and demanding creative workflows, and they’re decent for gaming, too, but the 9800X3D is still preferable.
