Popular Ryzen 9 7900X, RTX 5070 gaming PC gets a surprising new price in Amazon deal
Table of Contents
Whether you’re looking to upgrade or buy your first gaming PC, you can do far worse than an RTX 5070 system with a Ryzen 9 7900X at its heart. It’s not surprising then that iBuyPower’s Element Gaming PC is so popular, with over 2,000 reviews on Amazon. What is surprising is the new price, since the previously $2,300 system is now down to $1,900. That’s a chunky $400 discount for a PC that can push to 4K resolution in some titles.

Why we like the iBuyPower Element Gaming PC
Great value performance
At its lowest price in 30 days, and under $2,000, this PC has enough performance for speedy 1440p gaming. Plus, it could easily support streaming and content creation if you’re on a more limited budget and cannot justify a self-build. User reviews speak to the potential, and at this price, there’s good value here.
Socket AM5 upgrades
AMD’s Ryzen 9 7900X remains a potent CPU in 2026. Even though it’s been surpassed by the Ryzen 9 9900X, it’s a 12-core, 24-thread processor that easily supports today’s best graphics cards. And, of course, it’s a Socket AM5 CPU, which means you can upgrade to the 9000-Series (and likely the to-be-confirmed 10000-Series) in the future.

Gaming credentials
Nvidia’s RTX 5070 is a fine mid-range graphics card, as we saw with our review of the Asus TUF RTX 5070. Its 12GB of VRAM make it flexible enough for streaming, encoding, and 2K resolutions. And it has access to the best features of the Blackwell architecture, like DLSS and MFG. Rounding out the gaming credentials, 32GB of DDR5 and a 1TB NVMe are solid inclusions.
What to consider before you buy
Any prebuilt PC purchase needs to meet your specific needs, so there are a couple of things to consider here. The first is that if you’re keen on 4K gaming, a PC with at least an RX 9070 XT or RTX 4080/5080 is the better option. This system should go to 4K in some titles, but not consistently. The second thing to consider is the 1TB NVMe. If this is your first gaming PC, that may be enough storage. However, if you have an expansive library, you may want a bit of extra space.
