RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card
The RTX 5060 Ti is one of the best graphics cards you can get if you’re looking for excellent 1440p performance, alongside something that can handle more demanding creative workflows better than lower VRAM alternatives. With this model, you’re getting a solid 16GB of GDDR7, which is more than the RTX 5070 and faster than your typical GDDR6 VRAM, too. This gives you a lot more room to work with when it comes to more demanding AAA titles, preventing stuttering at high settings, and making for a much smoother overall experience. On top of this, there are 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which are about twice as fast as the previous-gen, and 5th-gen tensor cores, for a significant AI performance and capabilities boost. Throw in features like Nvidia Broadcast, 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders, and MFG upscaling, and you’ve got a very good graphics card, which doesn’t completely break the bank, either. Intel i7-14700F processor
The Intel 14th-gen lineup offers an excellent selection, especially if you want something with exceptional multitasking capabilities and impressive single-core performance. The Intel i7-14700F is a standout processor from this series, and a very strong mid-range pairing with the RTX 5060 Ti. It features 20 cores (8P and 12E) and 28 threads, which is excellent for gaming and running background applications, like Discord, streaming, and improving rendering speeds with applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, and more. It has a 5.4GHz boost clock and 33MB smart cache, which is great for pushing high FPS at 1440p and 4K, matching the RTX 5060 Ti’s target resolutions. We’ve reviewed the K-version, which is similar to this CPU, and can give you more of an idea of what to expect.

RAM and storage
This PC features 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is excellent for many reasons. First off, it complements the RTX 5060 Ti’s already hefty 16GB of VRAM, and is going to make running more demanding AAA titles, especially open-worlds and simulators, much smoother. For creatives, it’s going to significantly improve a wide range of tasks, for example, timeline scrubbing when using applications like Premiere Pro will be much smoother, as will rendering in applications like Blender, and switching between multiple heavy applications. On the storage front, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, and unsurprisingly, it’s a Gen4 model. I personally don’t see Gen5 SSDs in even some of the best prebuilds, so it’s not a big deal, really. 1TB is going to give you enough storage for a good handful of games, and allow you to upgrade when you need it, rather than pay for space you may not use for some time to come.
Things to consider
If you’re looking to save a bit more, then it’s worth checking out some ofthe RX 9060 XT 16GB models, which are generally more affordable. In short, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has better performance, but the RX 9060 XT is a very good option for those wanting a decent amount of VRAM, without diminishing their budget entirely. You may also want to explore some of the RX 9070 XT 16GB options, as lower-end prebuilds can start popping up at around $200 more than this build. These are very good for 1440p and 4K, and can even trade blows with the RTX 5070 Ti when it comes to raw performance.
