Key features of this Mloong RTX 5060 Ti gaming PC

Ryzen 7 8700F processor

This PC features a Ryzen 7 8700F processor, which is a decent CPU for gaming, productivity, and multitasking. It’s usually found in more affordable RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 prebuilds, and is a good processor to look ut for if you’re looking to keep costs on the lower side. It has a boost clock speed of 5GHz, with an adequately sized 16MB L3 cache, and it features 8 cores and 16 threads, which makes it a decent way to go if you’re looking for solid streaming capabilities and handling of creative workflows in applications like Premiere Pro, for instance. It’s also quite efficient, too, coming in with 65W TDP, making it a good choice for smaller, more compact PC builds, like this one.

RTX 5060 Ti graphics card

The RTX 5060 Ti is a good option to go for if you’re looking for punchy FHD performance, without the price tag of an RTX 5070. This 8GB version is a better choice for gaming than it is for more demanding creative workflows, as its VRAM is a fairly modest amount. That being said, it is GDDR7, which is significantly faster and has higher bandwidth than GDDR6, and it features 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th0gen tensor cores, too. Like the Ryzen 7 8700F, this is another highly efficient pick, making it a very good option if you’re looking at smaller builds and don’t want your budget going to super high-end cooling solutions, either.

32GB of DDR5 and a 1TB SSD

You’ve got pretty basic 1TB of storage here, but that’s more than enough if you’re playing a few games on rotation, and don’t mind the occasional bit of spring cleaning from time to time. What’s great, though, is its 32GB of DDR5, which is going to improve gaming performance, reduce microstuttering, and give you loads of bandwidth for multitasking, too. This is a big win, as DDR5 isn’t always preset in RTX 5060 Ti builds, with many opting for slower DDR4 instead.

Things to consider

The big thing to consider here is whether you want to go for an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB or 16GB prebuild. In short, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB makes a lot more sense if you’re looking for something for content creation and vastly superior 1440p performance. Pricing-wise, if you want to keep costs close to this one, you’ll be looking at Intel i7-14700F, RTX 5060 Ti builds. These are going to be good for gaming and very good for content creation and multitasking, due to their high core and thread counts. Since they’re 14th-gen and built on the older LGA 1700 socket, they’re way cheaper than RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, Intel Core Ultra builds, too. If I had to recommend one, I’d go with this discounted ABS gaming PC, which is under $1,500 at Newegg right now.
