Table of Contents
There’s a huge $420 discount on this brilliant Stormcraft Sirius gaming PC at Newegg, which has knocked its price down from $1,999.99 to $1,579.99. Now that’s a great price for a build like this, which features the versatile, powerful, but cost-effective RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and high core count, high performance Intel i7-14700F processor, paired with 32GB of DDR5 and a large 2TB SSD. This PC brings a lot to the table and will be great for those looking for excellent 1080p and 1440p gaming performance, alongside something capable of handling demanding creative workflows better than an 8GB alternative.
STORMCRAFT SIRIUS Gaming PC – RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
Key features of this Stormcraft Sirius RTX 5060 Ti gaming PC
Intel Core i7-14700F processor
This is one of the best processors you can get in the 14th-gen lineup, especially if you’re after something great for gaming with exceptional workstation capabilities. That big thing here is this CPU’s high core and thread count, which comes in at 20 (8P+12E) and 28. This is very good for gaming and streaming, or running background applications like Discord, and it’s also very strong for applications, such as Blender, which benefits from higher core and thread counts for demanding tasks, like rendering, editing, and exporting. On top of this, you’ve got a 5.4GHz boost clock speed and a large 33MB L3 cache, which is going to give you enough performance for high fps gaming for the RTX 5060 Ti’s target resolution of 1080p and 1440p, but it’s also capable of pushing high fps at 4K, too. Games that require larger L3 caches to run smoothly at higher framerates, like esports shooters and open-world titles, will play very well with a CPU like this one. RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card
This is one of the best graphics cards you can get if you’re sticking to a mid-range price point, and want something with a decent amount of VRAM, and superior ray tracing performance at 1080p and 1440p to the 8GB version. For a modest price increase, it makes a lot of sense for most people to go for the 16GB option, especially as that extra VRAM is also going to help with more demanding creative workflows. It’s essentially a graphics card that’s great for gaming, content creation, and pairs very well with high core count processors like the Intel i7-14700F in this case. RAM and storage
You’ve got a decent 32GB of DDR5 here, which is ideal for a prebuild that’s capable of handling more demanding games, like open-world titles, as well as heavy-duty creative workflows, like 3D and video editing. It gives you a load of headroom that will ensure smooth performance across the board. It also has a 2TB SSD, which is great, as it’s usually a 1TB with many RTX 5060 Ti builds, which can run out very quickly if you’re saving games and dense media files to it at the same time.
Things to consider
RTX 5070 prebuilds are pretty similarly priced, especially with Intel processors, and these could be worth checking out if you’re looking for something with more raw power, which will carry through to better performance at 1440p and faster rendering, for example. The only slight downside is that you’ve got less VRAM, coming in at 12GB, which I think personally makes it a better choice for gaming, but not for hybrid gaming/ content creation purposes, where 16GB is going to be superior for handling larger, more complex files.
