Superb Stormcraft RTX 5070 Ti, 9800X3D gaming PC plunges to lowest price in 30 days at Newegg
Table of Contents
This Stormcraft Phantom gaming PC has now dropped to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, with a hefty $320 discount. It’s now reduced from $2,799.99 to $2,479.99, which I’d say is a great price for an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC with a top Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, 32GB of DDR5, and a 2TB SSD, and especially one that looks this good from a design perspective, too. This is the type of PC that’s going to be great for getting the most out of the RTX 5070 Ti, whether that’s gaming in 1440p or 4K, as its CPU is designed specifically for high fps gaming with low frame latency. At under $2,500, it’s well worth considering while it’s still at one of its lowest prices.
Key features of this Stormcraft Phantom RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC
Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor
This PC packs the impressive Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, which boasts AMD’s unique 3D V-cache technology. Due to its design, its L3 cache is absolutely massive, coming in at 96MB, which is practically triple the size of most common gaming CPUs, and allows for very high, stable fps, with improved 1% lows and low frame latency. It’s a great pick if you’re looking to get the most out of the RTX 5070 Ti from a gaming perspective. Its multitasking capabilities are not bad, either, as its 8 cores and 16 threads are great for streaming and running background applications, while preserving gaming performance. RTX 5070 Ti graphics card
The RTX 5070 Ti is a brilliant graphics card if you’re after top-tier 1440p performance and solid 4K capabilities. It’s a powerful graphics card, boasting 8,960 CUDA cores, a 256-bit memory bus, and 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is significantly faster than the GDDR6 memory found in the 40-series and many competitor cards, like the RX 9070 XT, for example. Its edge is really its new Blackwell Architecture, which offers notably improved efficiency, ray tracing, and AI capabilities and performance, thanks to next-gen technology like 4th-gen ray tracing cores and 5th-gen tensor cores. Overall, it’s one of the best graphics cards you can get right now, and with prebuilds being a fair bit cheaper than RTX 5080 models, it’s a smart choice from a bang-for-your-buck standpoint, too.

Storage and RAM
There’s a 2TB SSD here, which really should be the new standard with some AAA games coming in at over 100GB nowadays. It’s the kind of storage that’s ideal, though, for most people who don’t want to be constantly managing it and freeing up room. It also features 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which is great, especially for open-world gaming, simulators, improving rendering and exporting times, overall multitasking flow, and future-proofing, too.
Things to consider
I’d say that an RX 9070 XT build is going to be your more cost-effective pick for 1440p and 4K gaming, specifically, so if you’re looking to spend closer to $2,000, I’d say they’re well worth exploring. Stormcraft has this one on sale right now, which is very competitively priced. If you’re looking for something that looks quite similar to one of these builds, I’d check out Andromeda Insights, personally. This one is a banger, and under $1,900.
