At the heart of any great gaming rig is a top CPU and GPU pairing, for performance, power, gameplay, and graphics. Although most self-builders and PC enthusiasts tend to buy and upgrade this hardware separately, we occasionally come across deals that bundle impressive CPUs and GPUs together into one deal, often offering prospective buyers a discount in the process.
One such deal caught our eye over on Amazon. You can currently buy an Intel Core i9-13900KF Gaming desktop processor and Sparkle Arc A750 Titan graphics card bundle for $639.99 – that saves you $219 off the normal bundle list price of $858.99. Sounds pretty good right? However, we did some extra digging and managed to find that if you bought the products individually on the same site, you could save even more, proof that bundle deals aren’t always the way to go.
Individually we found the same spec Sparkle Arc A750 Titan graphics card priced at $259.99, whilst the exact same Intel Core i9-13900KF Gaming desktop processor is currently available at a 37% reduction, dropping the price from $599 down to $375. That makes the combined cost of buying these products individually $634.99 – $5 less than you pay for the bundle deal. Sure, it’s not a huge difference in this case, but it proves that bundles aren’t always the cheapest way to go, especially at a time of year when there are all sorts of discounts appearing on standalone products.
