Best laptops for Delta Force: Hawk Ops – our top picks

Table of Contents
Delta Force: Hawk Ops is the latest instalment in the Delta Hawk franchise after over a decade. This title promises better graphics, modern weaponry, an immersive environment, and plenty of modes to play, all for free. So, it isn't surprising that the gaming community eagerly anticipates its release, especially since it gives Battlefield direct competition with many modes resembling what Battlefield fans are used to.
That being said, to play this game on the go, you'll need a laptop that can handle its humble system requirements. The recommended CPUs and GPUs for this title are the Intel Core i5-6500 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500x and GTX 1060 5G or RX 5500 XT. So, it shouldn't be difficult to find a laptop that can power Delta Force at the highest resolution, as even budget GPUs like the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 XT overpower the recommended GPUs by a significant margin.
We’ve reviewed and tested the following laptops, and have selected them with Delta Force: Hawk Ops’ system requirements in mind. Granted some of these are a little overkill, but these choices will allow you to play more games at high fps, plus loads of AAA-titles too.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops shouldn't be difficult to run given its system requirements; however, while purchasing a gaming laptop, you don't think of one title. The laptop should also have enough power to handle other games, which is why we recommended this.
This gaming laptop is powered by an RTX 4080 and an i9-13900H. These are high-end components, and the GPU is a solid 4K card, which we've also tested and reviewed in-house. So, despite being a mobile variant, you should be able to easily ramp up the in-game settings to max without experiencing performance degradation.
This powerful combination should also ensure that you can play other titles or handle work tasks such as editing or rendering without any issues.
The MSI Stealth 17 Studio A13V combines power and compactness, to give a powerful machine that's that bit easier to lug around and use wherever you are. But with a 17″ size it's still quite the sight to behold making it a strong multitasking machine.
PC Guide
This gaming beast features a 17.3” mini LED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3840 x 2160 resolution. So, you can play Delta Force: Hawk Ops at any resolution you want, while the 144Hz refresh rate should ensure you don't miss frames or experience stuttering, keeping you on top of your game.
To keep it running cool, there are 7 heat pipes for the processor and the graphics card that efficiently transfer the heat to the fans and expel it, resulting in optimal performance. The 32GB DDR5 RAM is also a great addition, as it should ensure the various operations run smoothly and prevent low system memory issues.
However, there is also the option of upgrading the RAM and storage. That being said, it comes with a 2TB NVMe SSD, so it should be more than enough, but it is always nice to have some overhead for future upgrades.
Overall, this is a decked-out MSI gaming laptop that should be able to handle anything you throw at it. I use an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, which has an RTX 4070 and primarily play FPS games. I haven't had any issues with any of the games I play, such as Apex Legends, BF2042, Insurgency: Sandstorm, CS2, Death Stranding, and Rainbow Six Siege. So, this RTX 4080 laptop should breeze through Delta Force: Hawk Ops.
Acer Predator Triton Neo 16
There are plenty of alternatives to the MSI Stealth 17 Studio laptop, such as the best Razer laptops, which are renowned for their gaming performance, or even the best budget laptops, for those who don't want to spend a fortune on a laptop to play this title.

Acer Predator Triton Neo 16
- Panel Type: LCD
The Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 is a decent alternative to the MSI Stealth 17 Studio; however, it doesn't have as powerful components. That being said, it features an RTX 4060 and an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, which means better battery life while working and solid 1080p gaming performance. The RTX 4060 is still above the recommended GPUs for Delta Force: Hawk Ops, so it shouldn’t have any issues running in.
Besides that, it features 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB of NVMe storage. This should be more than enough to run Delta Force: Hawk Ops, and since the storage space required for this title is 50GB, you can download other games and applications without running out of space.
The Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 is a strong-budget studio laptop. Although it might not boast the top-end hardware, it still has decent-enough features to make up for it.
PC Guide
There is no point in having a powerful GPU if you can experience the output, and for that, the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 has a 16″, 2560 x 1600, 240Hz LCD. This resolution means it has a 16:10 aspect ratio, making the screen look bigger, and the 240Hz refresh rate should ensure smooth gameplay, especially in an FPS title like Delta Force: Hawk Ops, where lag or stuttering could spell quick defeat.
It also doesn’t have over-the-top gaming laptop aesthetics, meaning you can take it to work without standing out and even turn off the RGB on the keyboard. Regarding its performance, we ran Cyberpunk 2077 as it is a demanding title and puts the CPU and GPU through its paces. While the Ray Tracing results with ultra settings were less than satisfactory with 14 FPS, it isn’t surprising given the humble specifications of the RTX 4060.
However, with DLSS auto and Frame generation enabled, the FPS shot up to an average of 70 FPS, which is more than playable, meaning you should be fine running Delta Force: Hawk Ops. If you need to ramp up the settings, you can enable DLSS and Frame generation for more frames and a better gaming experience.

MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio A1V
- CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 185H
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080 Laptop
- RAM: 32GB (16*2) DDR5-5600
- Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD Gen4
- Max Refresh Rate: 120Hz
- Resolution: 3840×2400
If you're looking for a close alternative to the MSI Stealth 17 Studio, we recommend the MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio A1V. This laptop has almost the same specifications as the MSI Stealth 17 Studio except for the processor, resolution, refresh rate, and screen size.
This gaming laptop features the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, which means it should have good battery life when not gaming. In addition, it has an 18″ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3840 x 2400 resolution. What makes it even better is its mini LED panel, which has better contrast and also consumes less power.
If that wasn’t enough, it has a 16:10 aspect ratio that makes the screen look and feel more spacious. This is a game changer that I’ve experienced. When I upgraded from my 15″ HP Probook to the ROG Zephyrus M16 with a 16:10 aspect ratio, it felt like I was working on an external monitor, and gaming also felt much better.
The MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio A1V sells AI to the brim, but apart from the Copilot dedicated key and AI performance control that underperforms it's a bit lacking for how prominent it is. Otherwise, it's a greatly powerful machine with a stunning display that does incredibly well in performance.
PC Guide
As for connectivity options, it has WiFi 7, meaning if you’ve got a WiFi 7 router, you should be able to game with a wireless connection with good latency, as WiFi 7 has a high bandwidth. If you’re looking to explore some options, we recommend checking out the NETGEAR RS700S WiFi 7 router, as we’ve tested and reviewed it in-house and it had excellent performance.
As for its in-game performance, we again ran Cyberpunk 2077 with different settings. With ultra settings and DLSS and Frame generation turned on, we saw 84 and 67 FPS with discrete and hybrid modes, respectively. On the other hand, with Ray Tracing enabled along with DLSS Auto, we got 57 and 28 FPS in the same two modes. So, playing Delta Force: Hawk Ops at 4K with this laptop should be easy as single-player games are generally more demanding compared to FPS games, meaning better results for the latter.
Overall, this is a solid gaming laptop that checks multiple boxes and should be a great option for gaming and work. Its 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD should keep it running smoothly without any performance issues, making it one of the best gaming laptops.
