The iPhone 16 lineup is one of the most highly-anticipated launches to be coming out. Tons of leaks are already out. A new leak suggests that a big change is coming for the line of Apple smartphones. Leaked CAD renders show a brand-new button on the iPhone Pro 16’s design.
The leaked CAD renders were found by 91mobiles, which shows off a new button below the Action Button. It’s right below it. This new button is reportedly called the Capture Button. It allows for taking photos and allows users to adjust zoom levels and focus. The button can be found on the right side of the phone, and is the same size as the Action Button. This new button is one of the only major changes coming to the design of the iPhone 16 Pro, which is relatively similar to the previous iPhone 15 Pro.

Along with the addition of the Capture Button, the CAD renders display a slight increase in size. The dimensions shown in the render showcase measurements of 149.6×71.4×8.4mm. This is a slightly wider and taller frame than the 146.6x 70.6×8.25mm measurements of the iPhone 15 Pro. Previous leaks also indicate that a 6.3-inch display could also be a part of the 16 Pro’s design, being larger than the previous model.
A new button is certainly something to shake up the iPhone Pro’s design, which has remained relatively constant for a while now. The rest of the CAD render shows a very recognizable design, with little changes made from previous models. The bump design for the camera lens remains the same, and the design with rounded corners is present, as well.
The new button will certainly be interesting to those who praise the iPhone Pro’s excellent camera. It could make it even easier to shoot photos and edit them. And, since most of the updates coming for the iPhone 16 Pro come from inside the phone, like a new battery pack, a noticeable exterior change could generate tons more hype for the smartphone.
