Abxylute has shared more details about its upcoming handheld, the 3D One. This device mixes the design of modern PC handhelds like the Steam Deck with 3D visuals. However, this isn’t just a gaming handheld, as it also offers features that make it a solid option for creative work, thanks to its detachable design, much like Lenovo’s flagship Legion Go.

The 3D One is being promoted as the world’s first glasses-free 3D PC handheld. The Nintendo 3DS is the first device that comes to mind when we think ‘3D handheld’, but Abxylute’s new display aims to make 3D look sharper, smoother, and more realistic. This handheld is built to run AAA games like Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and also supports creative tools, meaning it’s designed for both gamers and professionals who need power on the go.

Abxylute 3D One specifications

Inside, the Abxylute 3D One uses an Intel 258V APU, built for solid gaming and multitasking. It has 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which keeps everything fast and responsive, and 1TB of SSD storage, so there’s enough space for big games. The device includes a 50Wh battery, which should provide decent playtime (though we’d prefer more), and weighs around 1.1 kilograms, making it easy to carry.

The main highlight is its 10.95-inch display, which features a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a max brightness of up to 480 nits. The screen features glasses-free 3D spatial display technology, allowing you to see 3D visuals without special glasses, much like Nintendo’s 3DS. It also includes smart features to improve the viewing experience. For instance, the MagicView Engine can instantly turn 2D games and videos into 3D with one tap, while AI eye-tracking keeps the 3D effect clear no matter how you move.

The display also works as a touchscreen that supports both gaming and desktop use. You can play it like a normal handheld, detach the controllers and use the built-in kickstand to place the screen on a table, or even connect a keyboard and mouse for work. The device supports 3D software like Blender, Rhino, and SolidWorks, which means it can also handle 3D design and editing.
