A new mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has introduced support for both AMD FSR 3.1 and NVIDIA DLAA, offering players a significant boost in performance. Developed by modder Doodlum, the mod is compatible with ENB, making it a versatile option for those seeking to boost their Skyrim experience.

Until now, players have relied on PureDark’s NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution mod to achieve similar results. However, that mod was limited in its compatibility, not supporting ENB and offering only AMD FSR 2, which lacked native rendering capabilities. The new mod, on the other hand, provides both FSR 3.1 and DLAA natively. ENB Anti-Aliasing – AMD FSR 3.1 – NVIDIA DLAA, as it is officially known, is available now on via NexusMods. With other 17,000 downloads, and over 1,000 endorsements, this mod has really caught the attention of gamers and Skyrim fans so far.

FSR 3.1 and DLAA packed into one mod

So, what is FSR 3.1? Well, FSR 3.1 is AMD’s upscaling technology, which aims to improve visual quality without a hit on performance. It may also include frame generation support, but it seems like this is not the case with Skyrim, as only the anti-aliasing is listed under ENB settings. FSR 3.1 is not to be confused with AFMF 2, AMD’s driver-level frame gen tech. Nvidia DLAA, on the other hand, is a spatial upscaling technique that improves image quality without affecting performance.

The new mod works by directly replacing the game’s temporal anti-aliasing, resulting in improved performance without sacrificing visual quality. It is compatible with ENB and does not require any additional configuration. Players can simply install the mod and enjoy the benefits of FSR 3.1 or DLAA, depending on their hardware.

ENB compatibility

One of the key advantages of this mod is its compatibility with ENB. For those unaware, ENB is a popular modding tool that allows players to customize the game’s visuals in a variety of ways. By being compatible with ENB, the new mod opens up a world of possibilities for players who want to further enhance their Skyrim experience.

In addition to FSR 3.1 and DLAA, the mod also includes several other improvements. For example, it uses more optimal hooking methods, resulting in improved performance. It also runs before some post-processing effects, ensuring that the benefits of FSR 3.1 and DLAA are applied to the final image.
