There is some talk of some more Radeon graphics cards that might still be heading our way. The generation of cards started releasing back at the end of 2022 with not very many options going for it for quite some time as the RX 7900 XTX and XT were the only options for some time. But now it looks like the bottom end of the pack is getting a few more releases as a well-known leaker Komachi_Ensaka on X (via Videocardz) has hinted at the fact those new GPUs will be coming.
These would be quite the low-end choices and certainly entry-level ones that aren’t exactly too great for gaming graphics cards. More of a good choice for a low-profile graphics card with a dedicated output than anything too powerful to utilize. As previously we’ve seen the likes of the RX 6500 XT not exactly getting great reviews. But it is likely AMD just getting usage out of lower quality chips from the rest of production as the RX 8000 series seems to be coming relatively soon.
Potential specs
There is not much to go off when it comes to what is onboard. The rumor has suggested that the GPUs will be part of the Navi 33 family. That currently contains both the RX 7600 XT and RX 7600, which gives us a potential max look as to what the new cards might have to offer, as they feature 16GB and 8GB of GDDR6 respectively with a 128-bit memory bus, with a 2,250MHz memory clock and 2,048 stream processors.

That means we can expect the RX 7400 and 7300 to have a max of 2,048 stream processors, 8GB of memory, and likely less than 165W of power. With the 7300 falling even further behind than that, that’s the maximum potential of the current Navi 33 options. Seeing that in our RX 7600 XT review, it didn’t hold up too well means that we don’t expect to be raving too much on these new ones but they always have some uses such as in more space-limited builds. But hopefully, they should be coming in sub $200 and at least outperform AMD’s own integrated graphics to make any sense.
