Early reviews already showed the CPU delivering over 20% better gaming performance than the Core Ultra 285K, further increasing the hype. However, despite the new X3D CPU launching at $479, its predecessor’s price hasn’t dropped at all.
No change in Ryzen 7 7800X3D’s price

And on Newegg, the CPU is currently being sold for $569, which is $90 higher than its predecessor. Everyone was expecting the prices to go down with the launch of the 9800X3D, but nothing has changed so far, as the prices are the same as before.
