It has been a while since AMD launched its Strix Point APUs, and we have seen quite a few laptops powered by these processors. Now, ASUS is launching the Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition powered by the Ryzen AI 9 365 APU. As spotted by @realVictor_M on Weibo, the new Adol edition has started its pre-sale period and comes in a “Rose Honey Pink Gold” colorway.
The upcoming Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition laptop has been created in collaboration with Anna Sui and Adol. Much like the name suggests, the laptop will feature a built-in fragrance dispenser on the lid. Users have to place fragrance-infused sheets in the dispenser, and they can also pick from three different scents – ‘Be a New Her’, ‘Basil and Mandarin’, or ‘Rose of Mans Land’.
Technical specs
Swiftly moving on to technical specifications, the Adol 14 Air Fragrance sports a 14-inch OLED display with a 3K (2880x1800p) resolution, which should deliver high-resolution visuals with great contrast and color accuracy. The display offers a 240Hz refresh rate, which should be suitable for fast-paced gaming. These specs are the same as the original Adol laptop that debuted earlier this year in July. The only difference is that the original one features an older Hawk Point APU.
On the inside, the laptop runs on the Ryzen AI 9 365 APU, which is a Zen 5 processor with 10 cores and hyperthreading. The processor comes with Radeon 880M integrated graphics, which should be suitable for gaming (especially with the AFMF2 rolling out). Apart from this, you get LPDDR5 7500 MHz memory and a 75Wh battery, which promises 14 hours of battery life.
As per the official announcement, the Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition laptop will be available for purchase on October 1st, which is next week. The price of the laptop is set at 9199 RMB, but at launch, users will be able to get it for 8999 RMB (which is about 1,200 USD) in China.
