CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
First, we have the Ryzen 7 7700X CPU. This is a part of the AMD 7000 series lineup and uses the AM5 socket. It has 8 cores and 16 threads and supports hyperthreading, which allows more than one thread to run on each core. What does this translate to? Better multitasking performance. Aside from that, the CPU has a boost clock speed of 5.4 GHz and a TDP of 105W.
We reviewed the Ryzen 7 7700X and gave it four out of five points due to its solid performance. In CPU Z, it was able to score 772 points in the single-core test, and 7,983 points in the multi-core test. On the other hand, in Geekbench single and multi-core tests, it scored 3,043 and 15,989 points, respectively. Overall, we found it to be a very reliable, efficient, and powerful processor that fills the massive performance gap between the 7600X and 7900X.
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi
For the motherboard, Newegg has included the Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi. This is a micro-ATX AM5 motherboard, meaning it is a relatively small motherboard size and should easily fit inside almost every case. It offers a silver and black design, but there’s nothing fancy like RGB on it.
The motherboard comes with the AMD AM5 socket, so it is compatible with Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series CPUs. On top of that, it offers a solid VRM system in the form of a 5+2+2 Phases Digital Solution, which should protect your components from issues like sudden power spikes. Aside from that, it can host up to four DDR5 RAM sticks and comes with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory module support.
When it comes to connectivity, the board offers six USB ports, one HDMI port, two DisplayPorts, two SMA antenna connectors, and three audio jacks. Aside from that, it has two slots for SSDs and four SATA 6GB/s connectors for standard hard drives.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB
Finally, the bundle includes Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5 RAM. The kit comes with two 16 GB sticks, each capable of reaching a max speed of 6400 MHz. Most video games these days require 16GB of RAM, so you will be more than fine with 32GB in games and productivity software.
How much will you save?
If you buy the three components individually, you’d have to spend around $508. However, thanks to Newegg’s offer, you can save $25 and get it for only $482.97.
