Last week on December 13th we saw the launch of the Intel Arc B580, Team Blue’s latest discrete graphics card. So far, it looks to have been a relative success, selling out already – though it isn’t immediately clear how big Intel went with the number of units being stocked on release day. In any case, if you’re looking to find one, a giveaway from (newly added) board partner Maxsun is the perfect opportunity.
You can find the Intel Arc B580 at many big retailers, Newegg being the best we’ve found so far. Even still, the card remains out of stock at the time of writing, unless you cough up more than $100 extra for one of the GUNNIR models shipped from China. We wouldn’t recommend that considering the B580 excels in price to performance, starting from just $249.99.

We see the Intel Arc B580 as a fantastic mid-range graphics card, especially if you’re finally looking to upgrade from generations-old hardware. During the big reveal, Intel demonstrated that the B580 offers “25% better performance per dollar” compared to its close competition, the RTX 4060 and RX 7600.
It seems like Intel understands the need for more VRAM in budget-friendly GPUs, especially considering modern games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle can deliver poor performance on an 8GB card, at least if you want to run it with higher texture settings. In fact, the RTX 3060 showed it could hold up better in this regard thanks to its more capable 12GB memory.
