The latest Fallout 4 mod, Fallout London, has finally launched today, and despite early reactions being hugely positive, many are experiencing CTD issues already.
Anticipation around the new Fallout 4 Mod has been steadily growing this week thanks to several cryptic clues shared on the developer’s Discord channel. Today, the game finally went live at around 2PM GMT, and fans of the game are flooding to see what the new mod has to offer.
Sadly, early feedback from players has been a mixed bag, with some saying how “the unique aesthetics and care put into everything are all so delightful”, whereas others are frustrated about relentless CTD problems.
Numerous Reddit discussions show the scale of the issue, and it seems that many are experiencing similar problems right now – with no root cause as to why the issues are occurring.
Fallout London players hit Reddit to share CTD problems
Players have quickly flooded Reddit to share their frustrations around the game, with many experiencing similar problems on launch day.
One Redditor said “Played for like an hour and and has it CTD twice. And again after restart. Full reboot “fixed” that until the next crash. Looks like a memory leak to me.” – with several other Redditors experiencing similar issues.
Other Redditors are “stuck with background video playing and logo in bottom right”, while some are simply crashing to desktop every couple of minutes.
A root cause of the game crashes has yet to be resolved or acknowledged by the mod developers, so we’ll have to wait and see if anything gets officially announced. Numerous people are already complaining about how difficult the game is to install, so it’s not much of a surprise that we’re seeing some issues in gameplay.
Like always, we’ll keep you updated with the latest information on the “CTD” issues – and hopefully a simple fix isn’t too far down the road.
