*Update 11/10* – Carphone Warehouse has released Pixel 6 promotional material early, which has now been removed. Find the leaked extended screengrab below:

Google Pixel 6 marks the technology giants’ first (proper) move into the premium Android handset space. Users enjoy Google Pixel handsets so they can get hands-on with the latest versions of Android and enjoy the operating system the way it was meant to, free of OEM modifications.

With Google officially announcing the ‘Pixel Fall Launch’ event on October 19th at 10am PT, things are starting to ramp up for the Tensor-enabled handset. With preorders expected to open up when the event ends, let’s take a look at some very compelling leaks and what we know so far:

Google Pixel 6 Pricing

According to 9to5Google, German retailer Saturn has already started advertising the base Google Pixel 6 for €649. The promotion is running from October 19th to October 27th also includes a free set of Bose noise-canceling Headphones 700. No information has been given on the Google Pixel 6 Pro. This lines up with YouTube channels ‘This Is Tech Today’ source stating that Google Pixel 6 will cost €649 in Europe. They also went to state that the Google Pixel 6 Pro will be €899, that’s a flagship Android handset that is roughly €300 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra currently.

Google Pixel 6 Release Date

Whilst some outlets are going with the Pixel Fall Event also doubling as a launch date, we doubt it. Much like their competition, Google wants those sweet preorders which will most likely start on October 19th. This will probably last for around a week, and if the german retailer Saturn has any common sense, their preorder offer will end just before the Google Pixel 6/Google Pixel 6 Pro drops. Judging off what we know, we’re quite comfortable putting bets on an October 28th release date.
