We’ve been expecting Intel to launch new Arrow Lake Refresh processors for a while, and after not even a peep at CES 2026 a couple of months ago, it seemed like Intel could have delayed the series. We later learned that the new flagship Ultra 9 290K Plus may have been canceled, despite benchmarks appearing online back in January. Well, that all turned out to be true.

Intel has just unveiled the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 270K Plus, revealing their full list of specs and recommended price tags. Assuming the refreshed Ultra 9 model has been axed for good, that leaves the 270K Plus as the flagship of the ‘Plus’ refresh, designed to be a new-and-improved version of the Core Ultra 7 265K.

As you’d expect, the CPUs are upgraded versions of the existing Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K. Both of the new Arrow Lake refresh chips are set to start shipping on March 26. Intel calls them its “fastest gaming desktop processors ever”, with up to 39% gaming performance gains (15% average) for the Ultra 7 and up to 24% performance gains (13% average) for the Ultra 5 models compared to their predecessors. Even still, AMD’s Ryzen X3D processors will remain on top.
