It looks like the RTX 5060 is also getting pushed back following 5070 delay rumors

The launch of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series graphics cards hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing. First off, the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 sold out immediately – gamers could be waiting months for some SKUs to be stocked back up. A massive launch taking place during Chinese New Year celebrations hasn’t done Nvidia any favors, and it already looks like these problems are spilling over to the 5070 series, and now the 5060. Not to mention the melting cable issues (again).
The next thing to look forward to is the RTX 5070 Ti, which several retailers have revealed could be available as soon as next week; February 20th to be exact. This card is also expected to suffer from “very limited” stock and the non-Ti 5070 might be delayed until March, leaving it to go head-to-head with AMD’s new Radeon GPUs early in the month.
RTX 5060 series launch could slip to April, says leaker
In its initial reveal of the RTX 50 series, Nvidia didn’t show off the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, but it had been rumored that these two GPUs could launch as soon as March, following the 5070 series in February, the latter claimed by Nvidia. However, with the non-Ti RTX 5070 reportedly pushed back to March, we could be waiting until April for the 5060 series. There has been no official word on the 5060 cards for now, but we’re eager to learn more about them – especially following some fantastic budget GPU launches from Intel in the form of the Arc B580 and B570.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known hardware leaker, “chip supply constraints are causing shortages”. This has been evident with the 50 series availability so far, and it’s clear that Nvidia needs some time to recover. They go on to claim that limited supply with cause the 5070 and 5060 to “sell out instantly even if production stays on schedule”.
The shortages plaguing the high-end cards would suggest this to be the case, especially with more people expected to seek out one of the mid-range cards. Nvidia’s xx60 series cards have long dominated the top of the Steam Hardware Survey charts, with the RTX 3060 still on top to this day.
