New Ryzen 9900X, 9700X, and 9600X price leaks have surfaced today, and if true, AMD’s next-gen lineup could be far more competitively priced than we first thought.

With Ryzen’s new 9000-series CPU launch just around the corner, it’s no surprise to see the odd leak spill out here and there. However, price leaks have been much more frequent this year, with numerous leaks and rumors weeks ahead of the official release.

We’ve had a bunch of retailer leaks, several rumors, and even a text exchange with an apparent BestBuy worker – with yet another retailer leak to add to the list.

The newest leak comes to us from European retailer, Azerty, who operate largely in the Netherlands and Belgium. The retailer recently listed three of the new Ryzen 9000-series CPUs (9900X, 9700X, 9600X) but was quick to remove them as they were likely breaking embargo details. Amazon Netherlands was also a culprit in the price leak saga, suggesting very similar pricing.

The story was covered by Wccftech who were able to get screenshots before the product listing was edited. Azerty listed the following prices:

  • Ryzen 9 9900X – €484.14 | $433.59
  • Ryzen 7 9700X – €385.33 | $344.70
  • Ryzen 5 9600X – €301.37 | $269.91

The above pricing includes a 21% VAT charge, and once converted to USD (the second price column), offers a very competitive price point. That said, this is still very much a leak – meaning the price is subject to change and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

How the price leak compares to AMD’s current-gen CPUs

When you take a look back at generational MSRPs, it’s safe to say that the 9000-series could be the best value-for-money lineup AMD has offered in years. If the leaks are true, we could see a near-100-dollar reduction YOY.

The 7900X launched for $549 in the US, meaning the leaked $433 price point on Azerty could represent an $80 reduction. That’s pretty impressive when you factor in some of the leaked benchmarks that showcase the 9900X fall just shy of the 7800X3D in gaming performance.

Overall, we’ll have to wait and see what AMD decides to do when it comes to official pricing. One thing is for sure, the leaks are only fueling the the anticipation that revolves around these CPUs.
