Another update has come to GeForce graphics cards. The latest Nvidia update is primarily focused as on adding DLSS support for new games. With DLSS 3 coming to Level Zero: Extraction and DLSS to the upcoming game overhaul and engine update of Hunt: Showdown 1896. But there are plenty of other additions to be found in the 560.81 driver update, including what could be an interesting leak to a popular franchise port.
Some users are doing a deep dive into the update and its files have found something more interesting. As part of the update, Nvidia adds driver profiles and enables optimal settings for these games for your hardware with one click. So although it’s not in the patch notes, Reddit comments have found support for Final Fantasy XVI, which could spell out that the game is finally coming to the PC soon. Released in June 2023, the game was a PS5 exclusive at first but looks to be coming soon to desktop soon likely before the end of the year, so those wanting to enjoy the FF franchise can soon enjoy the latest game on gaming PCs instead.
Free month of Game Pass
In addition to the driver updates, the Nvidia App is offering redemptions now. Starting off with 1 month of access to Game Pass for free, that is as long as you’re a new member only. this redemption is available until the 5th of September and for those with a GTX 10 series and above. You also have to have an Nvidia account even if the App doesn’t need you to sign in anymore compared to the previous GeForce Experience.
