Last month, Nvidia reintroduced its Verified Priority Access Program (first introduced with RTX 40 series GPUs) to address RTX 50 series GPU availability. The program was limited to the US market, and those with a valid Nvidia account could secure a chance to purchase an RTX 5090 or 5080 by filling out an online form.

Days after the initial announcement, over 18 users on Reddit confirmed receiving an invite from Nvidia stating, “You've Been Selected for Priority Access to Purchase a GeForce RTX 50 Card.” Now, those who received an invite and successfully placed an order are starting to receive their RTX 50 series GPUs without any unexpected delays or issues.

Users are getting their RTX 50 series GPUs in as little as 3 days

This comes from Reddit, where users have started posting photos of their Verified Priority Access RTX 50 series GPUs in hand. According to the new RTX 50 owners, some received their GPUs in just three days, while for others, it took four. For instance, one user signed up for the program on February 19 and received an invite from Nvidia on March 11. They then got their GPU just three days later on March 14.

This means the longest part of the process isn’t getting the GPU. It’s waiting for the invite from the green team in the first place. According to one user who received their GPU in four days, Nvidia allegedly provides free two-day shipping, which aligns closely with the three-day delivery time many users are reporting.

Priority to RTX 40 series owners?

Another interesting detail we came across is that most users who have already received their invite link are RTX 40 series owners, particularly those with an RTX 4090. For example, one user with an RTX 3080 Ti reported that their friend with an RTX 4090 received the email first, while they were still waiting for theirs to arrive.

However, there is no way to confirm if this is the selection criteria, as another user with an RTX 3080 FE, who has had an Nvidia account since 2020, was among the few to get an invite. So, it's possible that Nvidia is considering factors beyond just GPU ownership, such as loyalty to the brand.

That said, if you haven’t received your invite yet, there's no way to speed up the process other than waiting for Nvidia to get back to you. Fortunately, there is no indication that the program is closing anytime soon, so you still have time. The Verified Priority Access Program is only applicable to RTX 5090 and 5080 cards at the moment, but if you aren’t eligible, then we recommend keeping an eye on our RTX 5090 & RTX 5080 stock tracker.
