Customers looking for a good deal on a new RTX 50 series graphics card might finally be in luck, as prices continue to dip below MSRP. Only if you are in Europe, however.

We previously reported that some retailers in Germany and the UK had dropped the price of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070. This was welcome news to many who were tired of GPU prices that soared well above the MSRP. Now, another European retailer is joining in this trend, this time in France.

RTX 5070 drops 12% below MSRP at French retailer

Changes in the USD to EUR exchange rate have already prompted Nvidia to lower the official MSRP in Europe, down from €649 to €629, however, some retailers have dropped below even this recommended price.

The best example right now is a listing from French retailer Grosbill, France using retailer Grosbill, where the price has dropped to €569, 12% below MSRP. The listing is for a Palit RTX 5070 Infinity 3 12GB model. The card is shown as in stock and available for immediate shipping, the discount itself is listed as a 9% reduction.

Only the RTX 5070 is getting a price drop

So far, only the RTX 5070 has seen significant price drops. This may indicate that it was priced wrong for the market segment it was aiming at, or perhaps the card is simply unpopular compared to other models.

With the tide of opinion weighted against the 8GB models of the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, it is expected that these models will also see a price adjustment in an attempt to sell less-popular models. When rumours of a Super refresh of the RTX 50 series on the horizon, it is likely that other mid-tier and entry-level cards will also see price drops.

Customers in the USA are still out of luck, however, as fears about the impact of trade tariffs keep prices high.
