Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price and release date leak says this year’s model will be noticeably more expensive

Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8, but attention is already shifting toward the company’s next Fan Edition smartphone. According to a new leak from reliable source billbil-kun, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE could arrive sooner than expected with a noticeable price increase.
According to the leak, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S26 FE on September 1, 2026. This closely matches the company’s previous release – the Galaxy S25 FE debuted in early September last year. The leak also claims the phone will be available in three colors at launch. Graphite, Aqua Green, and a reportedly undecided third color – either blue or purple are suggested.
Three different models with price increases, starting at €799
Samsung is reportedly keeping the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB options for the Galaxy S26 FE. This is particularly interesting because the standard Galaxy S26 lineup removed the 128GB model, suggesting Samsung still wants the FE series to remain the most affordable way to enter the Galaxy S family.

When it comes to pricing, billbil-kun says the Galaxy S26 FE will cost €799 for the 128GB model, €899 for the 256GB version, and €1,099 for the 512GB variant in France. Compared to the Galaxy S25 FE, that represents price increases of €50, €90, and €170, respectively. The larger storage models are seeing the biggest jump, with the gap between the 256GB and 512GB versions now reportedly set at €200.

While Samsung has not confirmed the reason behind the increase, the report notes that rising memory costs are likely playing a major role. Samsung has already increased prices across parts of the Galaxy S26 lineup, and the FE model appears to be following the same trend.
Although official specifications are still limited, previous reports have suggested the Galaxy S26 FE could feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone has also reportedly appeared in certification databases, hinting at a slightly updated camera layout with the camera module positioned closer to the edges of the device.
