“The most Cyberpunk way to play Cyberpunk” CD Projekt RED community manager praises Switch 2 controls

Marcin Łukaszewski, the community manager at CD Projekt Red, did a short Q&A with Nintendo of America on their YouTube channel. There we got only a couple of questions and answers on what to expect from Cyberpunk and how it might feel on the new Nintendo Switch 2 when it releases.
The first question is a more general question of the kind of Cybernetic enhancements Marcin might opt for from the game. He answers, suggesting using the Sandevistan build in Cyberpunk 2077 to slow down time and jump around across the enemies, wreaking havoc and allowing you to feel like a true boss while playing the game.
However, it’s the second question that sparked our attention. He was asked, “What’s one of the coolest things about playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo Switch 2?”
“With the breadth of controls that the Switch 2 offers, you’re going to be able to play it with motion controls and truly immerse yourself. This is the most cyberpunk way to play Cyberpunk”

Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2
Running Cyberpunk 2077 on the Switch 2 is already quite a feat; the graphically intense game playing on the handheld seems like quite the achievement. Already Steam Deck verified, porting it to the Switch is a different thing entirely, as the Nintendo console was seemingly always behind in hardware performance.
But there is a strong improvement for the Switch 2 as it looks to be getting an Ampere graphics card that will bring it some of the improvements of the RTX graphics cards, even on mobile, which is why the DLSS on the Switch should work, even though it may not be 1:1 compared to PC implementation.
Even then, the performance is one thing, but for the likes of Marcin and other handheld enthusiasts, it’ll be the ability to play the game on the go. With the gyro controls and even the ability to use a mouse, it’s going to be a more flexible way to play the game, as mentioned on the store page.
