The Steam Machine was announced by Valve back in November last year, and it sparked waves of excitement across the gaming community. Steam has not provided an exact release date for it, nor a price tag (though there was a recent leak), but it’s expected to ship in early 2026. And, thanks to a new giveaway on Gleam, you might be able to win one for free.

Gleam is one of the most popular platforms for giveaways, particularly for tech and gaming hardware. Companies use it to host promotions as it provides an easy-to-use platform. However, this time, the platform itself is hosting a special giveaway, and one lucky winner will get a Steam Machine.

The best part about the giveaway is that it’s open worldwide, so anyone can participate no matter where they live. Participating is also pretty simple. There are different tasks that users can complete. While completing one will secure your entry, we would recommend completing all of them to unlock extra entries and increase your chances of winning. The tasks are as easy as following Gleam on Instagram and X, starting your own campaign with Gleam Templates, referring three friends, and more.

While the entries are currently open, they’ll close on April 1, 2026, at 6:59 AM UTC. Once it’s over, the winner will be selected by a random draw and will be notified within 7 days of the selection. The winner will then have three days to respond to the email sent to them. If they fail to reply within the time, another winner will be selected.

As for what the Steam Machine offers, Valve claims that it has over six times the horsepower of the Steam Deck. It will be powered by a semi-custom AMD Zen 4 CPU paired with a semi-custom AMD RDNA3 GPU. Aside from that, it will have 16GB of DDR5 RAM paired with either a 512GB or 2TB NVMe SSD (the storage variant provided via this giveaway is not yet specified).
