Vampire Crawlers release time & countdown clock for all regions, as Steam Deck Verified status confirmed
Table of Contents
Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors is a mouthful of a game title, but it’s the latest release from Luca “poncle” Galante, the solo creator of Vampire Survivors. The new title, Crawlers, also lists Nosebleed Interactive as an additional developer, and it releases today (April 21) on Steam, at 4 PM UTC / 12 PM EDT / 9 AM PDT.
Vampire Survivors was released in early access in late 2021 before hitting version 1.0 in October 2022. It quickly gained momentum as a popular Steam Deck-friendly game, and it still frequents the official Steam Deck Top Played charts to this day, sitting at 27th at the time of writing, just behind Hollow Knight: Silksong. In its heyday, it occupied the top spot for months.
When does Vampire Crawlers release in your region?
As mentioned, Vampire Crawlers will be available on April 21 at 4 PM UTC. For some regions, this means the release date actually falls on April 22. See below for a list of different release times around the world. We also have a countdown clock to make things even easier; it will disappear once it expires and the game is released.

Vampire Crawlers is Steam Deck Verified in time for launch
Given its lightweight system requirements and the fact that it’s a spin-off to Vampire Survivors, we have to say that Vampire Crawlers really had no excuse not to be Steam Deck Verified. Well, just ahead of launch day, full compatibility has been confirmed. This should mean you can pick up and play without any problems – and the game is only 1 MB in size.
With the release of Vampire Crawlers, Steam Deck owners have yet another game to sink their time into. Unlike the ‘reverse bullet hell’ or ‘bullet heaven’ of Survivors, Crawlers is described as a casual turn-based deckbuilder with roguelite elements. We suppose it may best be compared to Slay the Spire (which also got a sequel recently), with plenty of dungeon-crawling fun.
