We found the RTX 5070 Ti for MSRP at four different retailers, as ASUS triple-fan model gets price cut
Table of Contents
It’s no secret that Nvidia’s latest 50 series graphics cards were overpriced when they launched earlier this year – limited stock and scalping was rife. The mid-to-high range RTX 5070 Ti was no different, generally resting well above its $750 MSRP. Thankfully, GPU prices have finally started to settle as of late, with even the flagship RTX 5090 dropping to MSRP at some retailers lately.
While we’d generally recommend the RTX 5080 as the best GPU for 4K gaming for most people, the RTX 5070 Ti is close behind, all the while being $150 cheaper. And with access to Nvidia’s latest suite of DLSS 4 features, including Multi Frame Generation, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice for 1440p and 4K gaming alike. We’ve spotted one 5070 Ti model on sale at four popular US retailers.
| Retailer | Graphics card | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Newegg | ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti | $749.99 |
| B&H Photo Video | ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti | $749.99 |

Why you should choose the RTX 5070 Ti
You can now find the ASUS Prime RTX 5070 Ti for just $749.99, the price which Nvidia advertised it for at the start of the year. Usually priced at $829.99, this triple-fan model from ASUS has dropped by as much as $80, making it a solid selection if you’re looking to upgrade GPU for 1440p or 4K gaming right now.

While we haven’t reviewed this exact model, we have reviewed two other ASUS Prime GPUs – the RTX 5060 Ti and RX 9070 XT. These Prime cards have a no-frills design, with no flashy RGB, but there’s nothing to complain about as far as build quality goes, so we wouldn’t expect any different from the series’ 5070 Ti model.
As for performance, the RTX 5070 Ti is a capable graphics card at any resolution. Nvidia’s official benchmarks (below) will be keen to point out the DLSS 4 gains over last gen with all the AI-powered tech turned on – Multi Frame Gen is the biggest factor here – pure rasterization brings it closer to the 4070 Ti, but the 50 series card still has noticeably better performance. 1440p is a breeze for the 5070 Ti, while 4K will require you to rely more on upscaling or frame gen in the latest, demanding AAA games.

The RTX 5070 Ti comes with 16GB of GDDR7 RAM – the same as the 5080 – and offers an impressive 8,960 CUDA Cores. It’s a future proof pick, and the triple-fan design of the ASUS Prime model helps ensure cool operation. It’s also a 2.5-slot card, which means it qualifies as a small form factor (SFF)-ready GPU. Overall, it’s versatile, good value for money, and should last you for years to come.
