The Ryzen 7 9800X3D launched yesterday at $479, offering over 20% better gaming performance than the Intel Core Ultra 285K and improved thermal management compared to its predecessor, thanks to reverse 3D V-Cache and CCD layering. The CPU was sold out within minutes, and there’s no word on restocking yet. However, if you’re looking to build a new gaming PC with it, we’ve found two pre-built gaming PCs featuring the 9800X3D, but they come with a premium price tag.
The Comet from Gladiator
The first PC we found is offered by Gladiator PC in the UK, called the Comet. This build features the Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, paired with AMD’s top gaming GPU, the RX 7900 XTX, which comes with 24GB of VRAM and is built for high-performance 4K gaming.
The Comet also includes 32GB of DDR5 6000 MHz RAM, an 850W high-efficiency power supply, and a 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD for storage. It features an AIO cooler to keep the 9800X3D cool, and all components are packed inside the Jonsbo TK-2 gaming case. Gladiator is selling it for £2,399.99 with VAT and £1,999.99 excluding VAT, which converts to approximately $3,100 and $2,585, respectively.

Custom 9800X3D gaming PC on eBay
The second PC is offered by Vlxbuilds on eBay, a trusted seller with a 100% positive rating. This custom build features the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, paired with the powerful Gigabyte RTX 4090 GPU, which is the top gaming GPU on the market. For the motherboard, Vlxbuilds has chosen the ASRock X870 Steel Legend, an AM5 ATX board.
Aside from that, this PC includes 32GB of DDR5 6400 MHz RAM and a 2TB M.2 SSD. Powering the setup is a SAMA 1000W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3.0 PSU, and there are seven Aigo AR12 Pro 120mm PWM case fans for optimal cooling. Vlxbuilds is selling this PC for $4,499. While this price is significantly higher than the first PC, it does come with the powerful RTX 4090 and a larger power supply.
So far, we haven’t found any prebuilt gaming PCs featuring the 9800X3D on major retailers like Amazon and Newegg, but this is likely due to the ongoing low stock issues for the 9800X3D. You can keep an eye on that with our 9800X3D stock tracker.
