180Hz Refresh Rate
Stay ahead of the action with a fast 180Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother motion and more responsive gameplay. The higher refresh rate helps reduce motion blur and visual artifacts during fast-paced scenes, making it easier to follow movement in competitive shooters, racing games, and other action-heavy titles.
AMD FreeSync Technology
Enjoy smoother gameplay with AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes the monitor’s refresh rate with a compatible graphics card to help reduce screen tearing and stuttering. Low framerate compensation helps maintain a consistent viewing experience when frame rates fluctuate, while low latency supports responsive gameplay.
Plenty of Connectivity Options
Connect your gaming setup and everyday devices with a versatile selection of ports. The monitor includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it easy to connect a gaming PC, console, headset, and other compatible equipment without constantly swapping cables.
Adjustable Stand for a Comfortable Setup
Customize your gaming space with an adjustable stand designed to help you find a comfortable viewing position. Tilt, swivel, and 100mm height adjustments let you position the display to suit your desk setup and preferred posture, whether you’re gaming for extended sessions or using the monitor for everyday work.
Easy Display Configuration
Adjust your viewing experience through the monitor’s intuitive on-screen display menu. The built-in joypad OSD button makes it easier to navigate settings and customize options such as brightness, contrast, and color, allowing you to fine-tune the picture to suit different games and viewing environments.
HP Eye Ease With Eyesafe Certification
Help make extended screen time more comfortable with HP Eye Ease technology. Built directly into the display, it reduces blue light exposure without requiring constant manual adjustments or significantly compromising color quality. Eyesafe certification provides additional reassurance for users who want a more comfortable viewing experience while gaming or working.
Console Compatibility
Designed to work with compatible gaming consoles, this monitor has undergone more than 140 test cases to help ensure reliable compatibility. Simply connect your console through HDMI and get started, making it a convenient option for players who want to use one display for both PC and console gaming.
OMEN Gaming Hub
Get more control over your gaming setup with OMEN Gaming Hub, a central software platform for accessing gaming-related enhancements, hardware controls, and supported live services. It brings compatible features together in one place, making it easier to customize your experience and manage your gaming environment.
Recycled Materials and Sustainable Design
HP incorporates recycled materials into the monitor as part of its sustainability efforts. The design uses at least 80% recycled plastic in the monitor’s overall construction, 20% recycled glass in the display panel, and 5% recycled metal in the stand base and VESA plate. These material choices help reduce reliance on newly sourced resources while maintaining a practical gaming monitor design.
Why we like this HyperX monitor deal
The HyperX OMEN monitor provides a fast and basic gaming monitor. Keeping the resolution low, you don’t need a powerful gaming PC to get the most from it. Yet you still can enjoy the high refresh rate when you have high frame rates in your games, something particularly helpful in competitive shooters. But it also generally improves the feel of your experience.
Which now can all be yours for the best price yet on Amazon, according to CamelCamelCamel. As shown in the graph below, it’s back down to the lowest price, as it did a month ago in October. So now you can get the best value from it.
