Table of Contents
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards that money can buy, as it isn’t just for gaming; its next-gen cores and architecture make it a great fit for professional settings, handling complex pipelines as well. We spotted the Gigabyte RTX 5080 on Newegg with a discount that can shave $200 off its asking price. Simply submit your Newegg email to see if you’re eligible, and that is it. However, you will get 007 First Light for free with this GPU, valued at $69.99.
With the discount, it’ll only cost you $1249.99, which is a great price tag for a beast like the RTX 5080. It trades blows with the RTX 4090, and DLSS 4.5 enables it to blow it out of the water when it comes to gaming. Besides that, the productivity is nothing to scoff at; 3D rendering, modeling, 4K video editing, and AI, and other resource-intensive workflows are also easy for the RTX 5080 to deal with, making it perfect for gamers, enthusiasts, and professionals alike.

Why you should get this GPU
Blackwell architecture drives outstanding performance
The new architecture from NVIDIA did wonders to bolster the performance of the RTX 50-series GPUs in all aspects. The CUDA, Tensor, and RT cores perform much better and can handle even more demanding workloads. This means faster performance when it comes to creative workflows, AI, ML, and more. Complex pipelines aren’t difficult to handle and ensure that there isn’t a bottleneck, as the 16GB VRAM can house large amounts of data without hitting the ceiling. That being said, you always get more clarity when you see the results for yourself, and we recommend you check out our RTX 5080 FE, ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC, and the ASUS RTX 5080 Noctua OC Edition reviews.

Reflex 2, MFG, and DLSS 4.5 enable it to handle super-heavy 4K textures
The gaming performance of this GPU is spectacular, but it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume that you want to play at 4K and with the settings maxed out. While it can handle that, if you add ray tracing to the mix, it gets very heavy even for the RTX 5080. That is where DLSS 4.5 and MFG come into play, as these technologies help push past the hardware limitations and churn out high FPS, allowing for smooth gameplay.
