Table of Contents
Xidax gaming PCs are seriously impressive from a design, build quality, and performance perspective, and they usually carry a pretty premium price tag to match. While these gaming PCs do get great discounts at Newegg, they’re usually just a touch more expensive than your typical prebuild, which is what makes this deal such a winner. Right now, this Xidax X-6 Series RTX 5060 Ti 16GB gaming PC is $500 off, and reduced from $1,999.99 to $1,499.99. It’s also at its lowest price in 30 days, too. At under $1,500, this is a seriously competitive price for an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB PC, and it even packs 32GB of DDR5, a 2TB SSD, and the excellent, high-core-count, powerful Intel Core i7-14700F processor, which is a powerhouse for content creators, multitasking, and gaming.
This is the type of gaming PC that’s ideal if you’re looking for something that can handle QHD gaming better, and has enough VRAM for more complex creative workflows, and if you’re after a build that looks super sleek and premium, too. For the price, you’re getting a lot here, and it’s well worth jumping on while it’s still reduced.
Key features of this Xidax X-6 Series gaming PC
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card for superior 1440p performance and better handling of creative workflows
While the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is a punchy, cost-effective graphics card for FHD and QHD gaming, if you’re after something more future-proof, able to accommodate upcoming AAA releases, and something that can handle higher resolutions and textures better, then the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is the way to go. It features 4th-gen ray tracing cores and 5th-gen tensor cores, and boasts far superior 1440p performance to the 8GB variant. In addition, it’s also much better suited to more complex and demanding creative tasks, like 3D rendering and heavy video editing in Premiere Pro, for instance. Intel i7-14700F processor for excellent content creation capabilities and gaming performance
This processor is often found paired with the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB in more affordable prebuilds, as it’s a higher core count option that excels with content creation workflows and multitasking, but doesn’t pack the same price tag as a more recently released Intel Core Ultra option. You’ve got 20 cores (8P and 12E), and 28 threads, which is ideal for heavy multitasking, streaming, and running background applications, and its high thread count is very well suited to workflows encountered in Blender, Da Vinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and other popular creative editing applications. In terms of power, you’ve got a 5.4GHz boost clock speed, and with its 33MB L3 cache, it can accommodate high fps gaming with low frame latency, too. Read our in-depth review here for more information on this excellent CPU.
32GB of DDR5 for snappy multitasking, demanding creative work, and headroom for future release
While 16G of DDR5 is fine if you’re just gaming, 32GB is going to be much better for this type of build, as you’ll likely be using it for demanding creative workflows, which eat up tonnes of RAM and can bring your system to a crawl. You can expect snappy edits, rendering, timeline scrubbing, and fast navigation of 3D models with 32GB of DDR5, making it ideal for creative professionals. On the gaming front, it gives you lots of wiggle room for future AAA releases and will also improve gaming performance in asset-heavy games, like open-world titles and simulators, too, by decreasing microstuttering.
Ample storage for hybrid usage
You’ve got 2TB here, which is an ideal amount of storage if you want a decent-sized gaming collection, but also need room for large creative files, such as 4K video or hefty PSDs. With games tipping the scales at over 100GB in some cases, having 2TB from the get-go is a great way to go.
Things to consider
So if you’re not keen on going for a last-gen Intel processor and want something with a high core count but on a more recent socket, then you’d think the next point of call would be an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K or Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, RTX 5060 Ti build. The bad news is that these are significantly more expensive, and in my view, they don’t make a lot of sense from a price-to-performance perspective. Alternatively, I’d recommend looking at other RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, Intel i7-14700F models, and shortlisting from those instead. One that stands out is this ABS Flux II Aqua Gaming PC, which is similarly priced, looks great, and is a highly rated option at Newegg.
