RTX 5070 gaming PC drops $100 to even better price, and it has a 2TB SSD drive
Buying a gaming PC under $2,000 doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on 1440p gaming. We’ve just spotted an RTX 5070 system that proves it, and it has just dropped $100 with a new Amazon discount. The Skytech Gaming Blaze 5 is an RTX 5070 gaming PC featuring the Core i7 14700F, a 2TB NVMe, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. It’s a system that offers good value at $1,800, down from the full price of $1,900.

Why we like the Skytech Gaming Blaze 5
1440p gaming with DLSS and ray tracing quality
This gaming PC’s RTX 5070 graphics card means you can enjoy smooth 1440p gaming, even in modern triple-A titles. With the 5070, you get all the goodness of Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture. You can make the most of DLSS 4, including multi-frame generation and AI upscaling, and high-quality ray tracing capabilities that AMD cards cannot quite match.
A flexible daily PC for gaming and more
This Raptor Lake refresh system may be a previous-generation build, but it’s got enough flexibility for modern gaming, productivity, and daily use. The Core i7-14700F is a graphics-less processor that can easily handle most modern needs. It’s not the Core i7-14700K, but it pairs well with the RTX 5070 for a PC that can even support content creation and streaming.

Plenty of storage and healthy RAM capacity
It’s great to see a gaming PC at this price get a 2TB NVMe SSD as the storage drive. That’s plenty of space for games, media files, and maybe even some light content creation (although expansion or an added external drive would be better). Meanwhile, the 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM should be enough to keep your PC running smoothly, even with multiple apps open.
What to consider before you buy
This is a balanced and smart-looking system, and the Gaming Blaze 5 has an 850W Gold PSU, which is great for future upgrades. Intel’s Raptor Lake is a previous processor family, but (in the future) you could drop in a Core i9-14900KS and upgrade the GPU for a much more powerful system. The question is whether you’d prefer a Socket AM5 build, with more future flexibility. There’s performance here for the price, though, and we think it is a decent deal.
