Apple AirPods are really user-friendly, especially when connecting to iPhones and other Apple devices. They may have some confusing feature titles such as ‘Spatial Audio’ and ‘Active Noise Cancellation’, but the setup process takes no time at all and will have you set up in seconds, not hours.
How to connect AirPods to iPhone
Before we get started with setting up your AirPods, make sure your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS, you’ve got a nice full battery, and your iPhone is on the home screen. Ready? Let’s do it.
Open The AirPods Case
We’re not making this up, just open the lid. A setup animation should then appear on your iPhone home screen that will walk you through the necessary steps. Tap connect and read the following three screens depending if you have the AirPods pro or not. You’ll also be able to set up ‘Hey Siri’ if you haven’t done before. A nice bit of bonus info: IF you have iCloud set up on your iPhone and other Apple devices such as Macbooks and iPads that share the same Apple ID, your AirPods will also be synced to those devices too. Amazing right?
