Diablo 4 gets a 40% discount just ahead of the Autumn Sale that helps bring it into the Steam Deck top 10

It’s been over a year now since Blizzard released Diablo IV, the long-awaited sequel in the popular action RPG franchise. Since then, the game has enjoyed a ton of updates and is currently in Season 6, named Season of Hatred Rising. There’s also the Vessel of Hatred DLC with plenty of content to enjoy, so it’s a great time to get involved.
And better yet, the game is currently enjoying a discount. This comes just ahead of the Steam Autumn Sale which will bring along sweeping discounts to a large portion of the Steam storefront. It kicks off on November 27th at 10 am PT, which may have arrived by the time you read this.
Diablo 4 is now in the Steam Deck top 10 after a 40% discount
According to SteamDB, Diablo IV has been 40% since the 22nd of November, giving players time to check it out for a discount price. That brings it down to just $29.99 against its usual $49.99 price tag. We’ve seen Diablo IV regularly recommended as one of the best games on the Steam Deck, and its official ‘Verified’ status is a good indication of that.
In the past – immediately after a new season – we’ve seen it in the Steam Deck’s top 5, then in the top spot, so it’s already well-established as a top pick for Valve’s handheld. As you can see below, the game has climbed nine positions in the past week to place it firmly within the top 10, just ahead of Cyberpunk 2077.

The special 40% off promotion ends just as the Autumn Sale begins, though we expect to see Diablo IV retain some kind of discount; we’ll see how this develops as the event goes on. The major sales event will be running until December 4th, so you have seven days to bag some bargains. We recently found a new mystery bundle on Fanatical too, which we’d suggest checking out before you invest in the Autumn Sale.
