People seem to be loving a new piece of Steam Deck-related handicraft. Posting to Reddit, the designer revealed their new miniature Steam Deck keychain design, originally based on their actual customized Steam Deck, except available in a range of different colors – you can either download the files and 3D-print it yourself, or save the hassle and simply buy it online.

The custom keychain is developed by Minnesota-based designer Ogden Sikel (we also discovered that they have a skateboarding-focused YouTube channel, if you happen to be interested). In any case, it’s a neat piece of 3D modeling craft, and a welcome addition to any proud Steam Deck owner’s keychain.

If you happen to have access to a 3D printer, then you can download the required files over on Maker World. If you instead just want to pick one up fully completed in a bundle with two different sizes, then head on over to the Etsy listing. Small (3″ x 1″) and large (3.75″ x 1.5″) variants come together for just $10, though pricing will vary per region due to shipping costs. The custom keychains are available to purchase in five colors:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Pink
  • Purple
  • White

Etsy lists the product as ‘In demand’, and it’s clear to see from the Reddit thread that people are fans of the simple-but-effective design. As one person says, they can finally say they got the limited white edition Steam Deck, of course, referring to the limited-edition OLED model Valve unveiled towards the end of 2024 for $679.

This is far from the first 3D-printable Steam Deck merch we’ve seen before. Common examples include custom enclosures or cases, usually with space for a keyboard. It’s also not the first time we’ve seen a 3D replica; creators have also been doing these for the upcoming Steam Machine, along with an array of other 3D-printable accessories for the SteamOS mini-PC.
