What does the Newegg 2-in-1 14700K bundle offer?
The bundle combines Intel's Core i7-14700K with the RTX 4070, two of the best components available for a mid-range PC. You could even consider this ‘upper-mid’ range. Either way, it’s ideal for the likes of 1440p gaming. You can find more details about them below.
CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K
The Intel Core i7-14700K is one of the best processors out there for both gaming and productivity. It comes with 8 Performance cores and 12 Efficient cores, with the former responsible for demanding tasks while the latter remains active during light activity. Aside from that, it has 28 threads, so you won’t face any performance issues in multitasking. The CPU also operates at a base frequency of 2.5 GHz but offers a max turbo frequency of up to 5.6 GHz.
We reviewed the Intel Core i7-14700K and found it to be a solid processor for multiple tasks. This is the reason why we gave it 4 out of 5 marks. We tested its performance in different synthetic benchmarks, where it was able to score 2,174 and 33,913 points in Cinebnech R23 single and multi-core tests, respectively.
On the other hand, in Geekbench 6, the CPU hit 3,092 points in the single-core test and 21,046 points in the multi-core test.

As the processor has a TDP of 125W, it can generate a lot of heat under load. So, we recommend pairing it with one of the best CPU coolers for the i7-14700K to keep the temps low. This will not only prevent the processor from overheating but will also improve its lifespan.
GPU: RTX 4070
For the GPU, Newegg has included the RTX 4070 in its bundle. This is a part of the RTX 40-series lineup, and it’s one of the best mid-range GPUs out there. It comes with 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM, which should be plenty for most games. Aside from that, it has 5,888 CUDA Cores, a 192-bit memory bus width, and a bandwidth of 504.2 GB/s. The GPU also operates at a base frequency of 1,920 MHz, but it’s capable of reaching a speed of up to 2,505 MHz.
We also reviewed the RTX 4070 to get an idea of its real-life performance, and we weren’t disappointed by the results we got. In Cyberpunk 2077, we were able to get 108 FPS at 1080p and 74 FPS at 1440p. However, this dropped to 27 FPS when we switched the resolution to 4K, indicating that the card is primarily built for 1080p and 1440p gaming. However, this will also depend on the game you’re playing, as you’ll get around 50 to 70 FPS in games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 4K.
