The top model now clocks in with as much as 5,088 mAh; a very slight improvement over the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, this is for the eSIM-only model. Reportedly, Apple is ready to expand eSIM-only models outside of the U.S. after a few years of exclusivity in the States (since the iPhone 14).
Other regions, such as the UK, have had support for both eSIM and physical SIM tray and others, like China, currently lacks sufficient support for eSIM-only from local carriers, hence warnings of a limited release for the iPhone 17 Air in the region. This is likely because the Air’s slim design doesn’t have space for a physical tray without compromising on the battery size.
