Needless to say, Battlefield 6 has enjoyed a great launch on PC. It still ranks in the top 6 of Steam’s most played charts (at the time of writing this), and it’s even 15% right now on the popular PC gaming platform, thanks to the introduction of Steam’s first-ever Black Friday sales event. Another great bonus at the moment is that Nvidia GPU owners can claim a free Battlefield 6 weapon skin.

Nvidia has delivered yet another set of DLSS-related announcements. With “more than 800” games and apps now compatible with RTX technologies, three more games are getting DLSS this week. Project Motor Racing, Prologue: Go Wayback!, and Whiskerwood. Upcoming Tides Of Annihilation has also been announced to launch with DLSS 4 support.

Free Battlefield 6 weapon skin on GeForce Rewards

A couple of weeks ago, an exclusive DOOM: The Dark Ages skin was available on GeForce Rewards, and now, you can get the Battlefield 6 Marksman SVK-8.6 DMR weapon skin for free. To redeem it, visit the Nvidia website here. It will be claimed via the Nvidia app, where you can follow the steps to add the skin to your account.

Nvidia notes that the skin is only available “while supplies last,” though there isn’t much indication as to how long this will be. So, if you’re interested in the Marksman SVK-8.6 DMR weapon skin, we suggest claiming it as soon as you can. Needless to say, you also need to own a copy of Battlefield 6 to redeem this award. Free-to-play battle royale mode, Battlefield REDSEC, doesn’t count.

In addition to the free weapon skin, Nvidia will also be giving away a custom-wrapped Battlefield 6-themed RTX 5090. You can find more details about the DMR skin and the custom GPU on the Nvidia blog post here.
