Some models from Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, and Zotac are now starting to trickle back onto shelves. However, if you want one, you’d better be prepared for the prices.

Demand outstrips supply
It must be emphasized that these are prices from Newegg, a reputable and recognised retailer, not some shady third-party on eBay. This serves to emphasise how severe the stock supply problem is.
The best deal currently available is the Zotac Solid GeForce RTX 5070, which is currently listed at $699, $149 over the MSRP. Other models have seen even steeper price hikes. The Gigabyte Aorus RTX 5070 is priced at $770, which is a massive $220 above the MSRP. Granted, this is a top-end model with premium features such as a dual BIOS toggle, RGB fans, and factory overclock, but that level of increase is still eye-watering.
When it comes to the RTX 5080, the prices start to skyrocket. The least expensive model currently on Newegg is the Gigabyte Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 OC is priced at $1,540, an increase of $540 over the MSRP. The white version of the Gigabyte Aorus Master RTX 5080 was currently listed at $1,630, though that appears to have been removed or sold out.
