If you wanted to grab an RTX Founders Edition GPU at MSRP but never had the chance, you’re in luck. Nvidia just restocked some of its 40 series graphics cards on its official store for MSRP, so you can finally upgrade your setup without shelling out more than you bargained for.
As spotted by eagle-eyed Redditor u/himangshunits, the RTX 4060 Ti, 4070, 4070 Super, 4080 Super, and 4090 were recently restocked. Unfortunately, the last two options are sold out, so you’ll have to settle for the older yet equally capable models. However, if the selling out of the 4080 Super and 4090 are any indicators, you’ll likely need to act fast. Other PC users eager to upgrade may be looking to get one, so the remaining stock might not last. If you’re determined to purchase Nvidia’s latest GPU release, we recommend learning where to buy the RTX 4080 Super instead.
Will there be more Founders Edition GPU restocks?
It’s currently unclear when Nvidia restocked these Founders Edition GPUs, as the Redditor who first spotted the drop said: “This is the longest I have seen all of them be in stock together in recent times.” It’s worth noting, though, that this shadow drop may be due in part to Nvidia’s record-breaking earnings result, which saw the vaunted tech company add a whopping $277 billion in stock market value. With this in mind, this sudden restock may have only been a one-off event to celebrate the company’s massive milestone.
Of course, this is mere speculation, so you should take this information with a grain of salt for now. But whatever the cause, it’s safe to say that the continued popularity of these GPUs – combined with the immediate selling out of the latest models – means Nvidia’s influence and market share will only continue to grow. That said, if you missed out and are waiting for another restock, we’ve got you covered. Check out this MSI RTX 4060 Ti bundle or this RTX 4070 GPU deal instead for other alternatives.
